What to prepare before you contact a showroom
A showroom decides quickly whether a collection fits its markets. These four things answer its first questions.
- A lookbook of the current collectionImages and a line sheet with styles, colors and sizes let a showroom judge the fit in minutes.
- Wholesale and retail pricesYour price points tell a showroom which segment and which stores the collection belongs in.
- Your current stockistsStores that already carry you show where the collection sells and what an agency can build on.
- Target markets and datesName the countries you want to grow in, your delivery dates and your minimum order.
How to list your brand
Listing in the directory is free and needs no approval. Your profile appears there shortly after you switch it on.
- Create a free accountRegister at my.labelloop.app, choose Brand and create your organization.
- Publish your brand pageIt needs a cover image or video, a tagline, your brand story, at least one category and your country of origin.
- Say what you are looking forIn the Labelloop Connect window, choose your price segment and the countries where you look for a showroom. A short note of up to 240 characters is optional.
- Switch it onTurn on “Show on Labelloop Connect”. The switch works as soon as the steps before it are complete.
Questions from brands
Where do fashion brands find a showroom?
At trade fairs and order centers, through referrals from your retailers and in directories such as Labelloop Connect. There you filter showrooms by country, segment and category and write to them through Labelloop.
How do fashion sales agencies work and how are they paid?
An agency presents your collection to retailers in its markets, takes their orders and looks after the accounts through the season. It is usually paid a commission, a share of the revenue from the orders it brings in. The rate is negotiated individually between brand and agency. Labelloop takes no share of it.
How do I contact a showroom on Connect?
You need a Labelloop account and your own active Connect profile. Your message reaches the showroom’s admins by email. Their reply comes straight to your inbox. You can write to each partner once a day.
Is the Connect directory free?
Yes. The Connect directory is free for brands and showrooms, like Discovery, even after the trial. All you need is a Labelloop account. Retailers find brands through Discovery in their workspace instead.
Where are the showrooms in Germany and Europe?
Fashion agencies usually present their brands in a showroom in one city, for example in Düsseldorf, Munich, Paris, Milan or Copenhagen. The overview by country and city shows where to look in each market.
